A handmade piece of jewelry is more than an accessory
At Line Vanden Bogaerde in Ghent, jewelry is made by hand, with a timeless character and a refined, subtle twist. Each design grows organically, is given the time it needs to mature and only becomes final when everything is right, from the shape to the wearing comfort.
Timeless design with a personal character
Whether you are looking for a minimalist piece with character or a statement piece that subtly draws attention, her collections offer jewelry designed to last for generations.
The design process: from idea to jewelry
For Line, designing a collection is a very personal process. The first phase is defining the theme, the form and the technique. Ideas grow and sketches fill A4 sheets. In the second phase, she sets herself more limits and continues designing directly in the material. Each piece slowly takes shape. She shows her creations to no one until the collection is completely ready: the moment when everything comes together and feels right.
Once the collection is launched, a new chapter begins.
"When everything comes out and is on the website or in the store, that's when it really begins. It's an exciting moment when people discover the jewelry, try it on and choose the piece that truly suits them." — Line
Sustainable materials & craftsmanship
Every piece is made by hand in her studio in Ghent. In principle, Line only makes custom pieces for wedding rings and engagement rings, but feel free to contact us with your request.
The collections consist mainly of silver and gold-plated silver designs. If you are looking for a unique piece in Fairmined gold, there is a selection of solid gold jewelry. Wedding and engagement rings are also made in Fairmined gold. When Line uses gemstones, you can rest assured they have been carefully selected with an eye for sustainability and origin.
The choice of materials is deliberate: every piece should not only be beautiful, but also sustainable and ethically responsible.
Timeless design with a twist
Line's designs are characterized by their simplicity and subtlety, but always with a special detail that makes them unique. Simplicity with a twist.
Sometimes a piece begins as a bold, complex creation, and is refined further and further during the design process. Always with the customer in mind. Tastes differ and change over time. That is why collections are regularly adapted: some pieces disappear, new ones are added. A freedom Line loves.
Each collection carries its own story and symbolism. The INTUITIVE HEART collection is a tribute to the heart and your authentic self, with soft, flowing shapes. The LUGA collection puts connection at the center, with the subtle sheen of mother-of-pearl and the deep tones of obsidian. Those who love statement pieces will find powerful designs in the BOLD collection that express independence and individuality. Finally, the KAVIAR collection is an ode to life and the strength to embrace beautiful moments, with black diamonds and Tahitian pearls that radiate luxury and resilience.
The store and studio in Ghent
Besides her studio, Line also has a store in Ghent, where you can discover and try on the collections in real life. On set days she is there herself, so customers can meet her in person and learn more about her designs.
Jewelry has to be experienced in real life. "It's more beautiful when you wear it, much more beautiful in real life." — Line
That is why Line gladly invites customers to try on her jewelry and see the materials and details up close.
